Hampton Inn by Hilton Hamilton

The hotel is clean and well kept. The secured parking is good, but it would be nice if the cost was included in the room rate. We found it loud outside our room, with traffic, sirens and activity thru the night. The breakfast was good, and the pool area was nice. The hotel is conveniently located close to St. Joseph's hospital.

I had a truly wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn and it was the people who made the experience exceptional. Each morning, Manjot at the breakfast station set the tone for the day. The food was fresh, hot and well organized but it was Manjot’s warmth, efficiency and genuine care that stood out. You could tell pride was taken not just in the service but in making guests feel at home. At the front desk, John and Suemaya were absolute professionals. From check-in to any questions during my stay, they were friendly, attentive and incredibly accommodating. They handled everything with ease and a sincere smile, making the hotel feel less like a chain and more like a place that truly values its guests. Clean rooms, a comfortable atmosphere, and a team that clearly cares—this Hampton Inn delivers on all fronts. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hamilton. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I arrived at the hotel on November 17th. Due to my personal oversight, I had mistakenly booked my flight from Hamilton International Airport. The hotel is quite new, so there was a slight formaldehyde smell, which I wasn’t very fond of. The single room was spacious and had good soundproofing — that was nice. However, the bathroom design wasn’t very practical. While I appreciate the accessible facilities, water tended to splash everywhere. I had to place a bath towel on the floor to prevent slipping. There wasn’t an exhaust fan, but that wasn’t too big of an issue. One thing I wanted to mention: in my bathroom, there was a loose floor tile next to the toilet. When stepping on it, I could feel it was clearly unstable.

Had to stay the night for work and brought my husband and two kids with me. Room was clean and much larger than I expected! Breakfast the next morning had a nice variety and plenty of food. The front desk graciously allowed my husband and kids do a 2 hour late check out while I was off at work stuff, and did not charge us! The kids enjoyed the pool for a few hours. Great service and location was great - close to everything. Would stay again!

Our stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Hamilton, Ontario was outstanding from start to finish. The hotel felt very new and modern, and everything—from the lobby to the fitness center—was spotless. The secure underground parking was a huge plus: well-lit, easy to access from the elevator, and roomy, with convenient in-and-out privileges using your room key. The location itself was also very easy to find, and our corner room on the 6th floor offered a beautiful view of the bay. Inside, the room was extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable. The AC unit ran smoothly with steady white noise—perfect for sleeping—and temperature adjustment was simple. The king-size bed was firm with a plush pillow topper, and the blackout curtains did an amazing job keeping out the morning light. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports, including in the breakfast area, which made charging devices easy. The bathroom was spotless, with hot water, strong water pressure, and eco-friendly toiletries that smelled light and pleasant. The pool and fitness center were also highlights—both very clean, well maintained, great temperature, and equipped with everything we needed. Great free WiFi – never an issue with any of our devices and streaming. The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, offering a wide range of options able to suit different dietary needs—gluten-free, vegetarian, and dairy-free included. The staff kept everything stocked and tidy, and the coffee was excellent. Speaking of the staff, they were truly top notch—friendly, attentive, and professional. They greeted us warmly, checked in by text to ensure we were comfortable, and even helped us select a new room when our original was not quite ready. They also went above and beyond to make up the sofa sleeper for us when we requested extra bedding. Check-in and checkout were seamless, especially using the Hilton Honors app, which I highly recommend for room selection, digital key access, and fast checkout. As for the more neutral aspects, the hotel offers standard amenities like the in-room mini-fridge, coffee maker, pillows, and blankets, along with typical check-in/out times and large cable TV. I appreciated that all guides and menus were now digital, accessible through a QR code or the app—cleaner and more modern than the old paper versions—and receipts were emailed, which was convenient. The sofa sleeper was typical - not super comfortable, but functional. If I had a few small wishes, they would be for a handheld showerhead, a built-in shower bench or extra grab bar (the floor was a bit slippery), and a few more towels in the bathroom. It also would have been nice to have extra bedding already in the room for the sofa sleeper, though again, the staff handled it promptly and cheerfully. Lastly, a hotel restaurant or room service would have been a nice addition, but ordering delivery was easy, and the front desk kindly called us when our food arrived. Overall, this hotel impressed me in every way that truly matters: it is exceptionally clean, secure, comfortable, and well-managed. The staff genuinely care about their guests, and every detail—from the modern décor to the eco-conscious amenities—reflects Hilton’s commitment to quality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hamilton.

Beautiful and well kept hotel. Room was spotless! The nearby parking garage is a great feature. Only downside is the additional charge for parking on top of your room charge. 1st vehicle should be free. Drop off area is a bit congested but understandable given the location. John at the front desk was exceptional and informative!

We’ve stayed here twice and will definitely return. Very clean, well stocked room with necessities. Happy bags and coffee in the lobby was a very nice touch, and the breakfast was amazing!!! Beds are very comfy and clean.

Just got home from a two night stay. We usually stay at the Sheraton, but wanted to try somewhere new but still downtown and with a pool. Clean and quiet room, lots of outlets, and the pool was nice and warm. The buffet style breakfast was fresh and had a much better selection than most other hotels, and the 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby was so welcomed on a freezing cold weekend. We will stay here going forward on any overnight trips to Hamilton. Thanks!
